A Life without Problem (No, you don't want that)

A Life without Problem (No, you don't want that)
Imagine you will be living on a beach in Phuket, forever. You're sipping a beer and feeling the sun on your skin. There is no work, no pressure. How does that sound?

Imagine you're on a beach in Phuket. You're sipping a beer and feeling the sun on your skin. There is no work, no pressure. Your biggest problem is where to go for dinner tonight. You have enough money to spend for your life. You could do this everyday. Sounds perfect, right?

No. That is not life. That is an AirBnb poster.

Something important is missing from the image above to make that a happy life. That something is a good problem for you to solve.

You must have experienced this some point at your life. You really want something, and you work hard for it, then you get it. It may be a law degree. It might be buying a Rolex. It might be buying your first property. You thought you would be happy forever, or at least for a good while. However, the sense of accomplishment disappears way too quickly, and you feel lost.

Our ancestors, in order to survive, are always looking for something, food, sex, human shelter, you name it. This is inherent in human nature. There is no way of altering that. We live to solve problems. Once that get solved, the high will be over soon. That is what propels human forward.

If we accept that, the next big question is, what are the problems we should be solving? It is my belief that every person who wishes to live a good and meaningful life should have a list of problems they want to resolve. This is too big a topic. Let's make a future article and talk about what are the problems I wish to solve.

Problems are what make life interesting, exciting, and worth remembering. Embrace the challenges and enjoy the journey.

Oh right. After yesterday's article, I did look into how to make a comment section, and here it is. Please comment and let me know about one problem that you aspire to solve.
